IN THE COMMUNITY

- MAKING EDMONDS BEAUTIFUL -

Daffodils and Sculpture

In 2021,  Edmonds Floretum Garden Club planted 6,000 daffodils in city flower beds as part of its 100th anniversary celebration. Each year their blooms signal spring has arrived and Floretum's commitment to a beautiful Edmonds.

Titled “Fleuresscence,” the series of three mosaic sculptures is the latest addition to Edmonds’ growing public art collection and promises to be enjoyed for generations to come.  The sculpture celebrates the  long and happy relationship the club has had with city over the past century. The art work is located at the corner of Sixth and Bell.

P-PATCH

Members grow organic veggies, fruits, and berries in 20 boxes which were generously donated and installed by the Snohomish Conservation District. Several boxes are grown specifically to contribute to the weekly harvest for the Edmonds Food Bank.

PLANT SALE = SCHOLARSHIPS!

It’s still a sharing kind of event...it’s part of how we share our joy of gardening with the rest of the community.

- Former Floretum President, Inae Piercy

Floretum's annual plant sale is held in the first Saturday of May. It funds scholarships for horticulture students at nearby colleges, as well as elementary school gardens. Members select plants from their own gardens, to sell to the public.
