OUR STORY

- CELEBRATING 100 YEARS -

Plant Shadow

Founded in 1922, Floretum is the oldest garden club in the state of Washington.
Affiliated with the National Garden Clubs and Pacific Region, Floretum is an at-large member of the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs.

The Club began with a simple idea: to promote the beautification of the city of Edmonds through flowers, plantings, and horticulture. Over the years this mission has grown to include fostering educational opportunities, promoting knowledge of horticulture and the art of floral and landscape design, protecting wildlife, and sharing the love, beauty, and joy of gardening with all in the community.

OUR MISSION

Edmonds Floretum Garden Club provides a friendly atmosphere for educational opportunities to promote knowledge of horticulture, the art of floral and landscape design, conservation of natural resources, protecting wildlife, civic beautification and above all, the love of gardening, while honoring its charter purpose of beautifying Edmonds

MEMBERS' GARDENS

One of the best things about Floretum is getting to see the private gardens of Floretum members.

These tours are not open to the public — a good reason to join!  However, we gladly share these photos with you from members’ gardens.
